What
changes.
A site about tax scales ages fast. This page says what changed and when, so you can judge for yourself how fresh what you are reading is. Corrections appear here just as much as additions.

The calculators put back on the official scale
The three calculators were using scales from earlier years under a 2026 label. They now work on the latest officially published scale, that of 2025 income, and say so. Three corrections change the results noticeably: the tax-exempt allowance is imputed on the lowest brackets instead of being valued at 25%, the marital quotient genuinely attributes 30% of income to the spouse, and the stock exchange tax on ETFs depends on whether the fund is registered in Belgium rather than on the accumulating or distributing choice alone.

The Walloon registration duty reform dates from 2025
Thirteen pages, the homepage included, dated the drop of Walloon registration duties to 3% from 2026. It came into force on 1 January 2025. Two other contradictions between pages are resolved: the income ceiling for a dependent child is €12,000, now a single figure, and the 50% bracket starts at €49,840.

Report an error, from any page
Every article and every tool now carries a report link at the foot of the page. It pre-fills the contact form with the address concerned: all that is left is to write what looks wrong. The About page also explains how the site is built, and what it is not.

Walloon energy grants: switchover on 30 September
The transitional Primes Habitation scheme ends on 30 September 2026. Works must be completed and the application filed by that date at the latest. From 1 October, a new system based on the Rénopack and Rénoprêt loans takes over. The page now carries that deadline at the top.

Ten pages: taxes, unemployment, inheritance, energy
Tax return, time-limited unemployment benefits since 1 March, student jobs, outstanding balance insurance, rental taxation, car insurance, service vouchers, inheritance duties, group insurance and choosing an energy supplier. Every figure is sourced from an administration; where no official source gave a precise amount, the page describes the mechanism and points to the official simulator.
